Founded in 1993, Zoo York became the first major East Coast skateboard brand to have a global presence. There was a change in ownership and the brand fizzled out into a shopping mall brand. In 2019 the iconic skate brand had tapped its founders, Rodney Smith, Eli Morgan Gesner and Adam Schatz, as creative directors to help reinvigorate the brand, and with that they launched the aptly-named “Founders Collection.” The second installment of this line pays tribute to the late great Harold Hunter, an original member of the Zoo York skate team. The original proceeds from this shirt went to the Harold Hunter Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to transforming the lives of urban youth through skateboarding. This Large long sleeve shirt features Harold Hunter quotes on the sleeves that kind of sound like the ramblings of a genius to some, and a mad man to others. Currently, the Founders Collection is archived and the company has gone back to selling trash at shopping mall stores like fucking TJ Maxx and shit. You won't find this shirt anywhere else.
